Formigine covers some 46.98 square km of the area lying between the provincial capital of Modena and the ceramic area of Sassuolo, and includes the villages of Casinalbo, Corlo, Colombaro, Magreta and Ubersetto. With more than 34,000 residents, it is the fourth District of the Province of Modena in terms of number of inhabitants.
The town’s history aside, there are to this day a great number of events that keep the memory of ancient traditions alive, as well as those aimed at satisfying the needs of a modern community.
